43:37 وانهم ليصدونهم عن السبيل ويحسبون انهم مهتدون


TransliterationWa-innahum layasuddoonahum AAani alssabeeli wayahsaboona annahum muhtadoona
LiteralAnd that they truly, they prevent/obstruct them (E) from the way/path , and they think/suppose that they are guided.

Yusuf AliSuch (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright!
PickthalAnd lo! they surely turn them from the way of Allah, and yet they deem that they are rightly guided;
Arberry and they bar them from the way, and they think they are guided,
ShakirAnd most surely they turn them away from the path, and they think that they are guided aright:
SarwarSatan will prevent them from the right path while they think that they have the right guidance.
KhalifaSuch companions will divert them from the path, yet make them believe that they are guided.
Hilali/KhanAnd verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allah), but they think that they are guided aright!
H/K/SaheehAnd indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided
Malik- and turns such people away from the Right Path, while they think that they are guided aright.[37]
QXPAnd, behold, they surely hinder them from the Way, but (rationalizing their actions) they think that they are guided aright.

Qaribullah and they bar them from the Way, though they themselves think that they are guided.

George Sale-- And the devils shall turn them aside from the way of truth; yet they shall imagine themselves to be rightly directed: --

Asadwhereupon, behold, these [evil impulses] bar all such from the path [of truth], making them think that they are guided aright!
