| 9:88 لكن الرسول والذين امنوا معه جاهدوا باموالهم وانفسهم واولئك لهم الخيرات واولئك هم المفلحون | |
| Transliteration | akini alrrasoolu waallatheena amanoo maAAahu jahadoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim waola-ika lahumu alkhayratu waola-ika humu almuflihoona |
| Literal | However the messenger and those who believed with him struggled/exerted with their properties/possessions and their selves, those, for them (is) the goodnesses/generosity, and those are the successful/winners. |
| Yusuf Ali | But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper. |
| Pickthal | But the messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives. Such are they for whom are the good things. Such are they who are the successful. |
