| Transliteration | Innahu huwa yubdi-o wayuAAeedu |
| Literal | That He truly creates/initiates , and returns/repeats . |
| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). |
| Pickthal | Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, |
| Arberry | Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, |
