| Transliteration | Inna hatha kana lakum jazaan wakana saAAyukum mashkooran |
| Literal | That truly that was for you a reward/reimbursement , and your striving/endeavor was/is thanked. |
| Yusuf Ali | "Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised." |
