43:16 ام اتخذ مما يخلق بنات واصفاكم بالبنين


TransliterationAmi ittakhatha mimma yakhluqu banatin waasfakum bialbaneena
LiteralOr He took/received from what He creates daughters, and he chose (specialized) you with sons.

Yusuf AliWhat! has He taken daughters out of what He himself creates, and granted to you sons for choice?
