ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:223

26:223 يلقون السمع واكثرهم كاذبون


TransliterationYulqoona alssamAAa waaktharuhum kathiboona
LiteralThey listen attentively the hearing/listening , and most of them (are) lying/denying.

Yusuf Ali(Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars.
PickthalThey listen eagerly, but most of them are liars.
Arberry They give ear, but most of them are liars.
ShakirThey incline their ears, and most of them are liars.
SarwarThe satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars.
