ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:216

26:216 فان عصوك فقل اني برئ مما تعملون


TransliterationFa-in AAasawka faqul innee baree-on mimma taAAmaloona
LiteralSo if they disobeyed you, so say: "That I am innocent/renouncing from what you make/do ."

Yusuf AliThen if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!"
PickthalAnd if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do.
Arberry then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.'
ShakirBut if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do.
