al-Mu'minun (The Believers) 23:46

23:46 الى فرعون وملئه فاستكبروا وكانوا قوما عالين


TransliterationIla firAAawna wamala-ihi faistakbaroo wakanoo qawman AAaleena
LiteralTo Pharaoh, and his nobles/assembly , so they became arrogant and they were a high and mighty nation.

Yusuf AliTo Pharaoh and his Chiefs: But these behaved insolently: they were an arrogant people.

Arberry unto Pharaoh and his Council; but they waxed proud, and they were a lofty people,
