al-Mu'minun (The Believers) 23:117

23:117 ومن يدع مع الله الها اخر لابرهان له به فانما حسابه عند ربه انه لايفلح الكافرون


TransliterationWaman yadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara la burhana lahu bihi fa-innama hisabuhu AAinda rabbihi innahu la yuflihu alkafiroona
LiteralAnd who calls with God another god, (he has) no proof/evidence for him with it, so but his242account/calculation (is) at his Lord, that He truly does not make the disbelievers succeed/win.

Yusuf AliIf anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through!
PickthalHe who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful.
Arberry And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper.

SarwarOne who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness.
KhalifaAnyone who idolizes beside GOD any other god, and without any kind of proof, his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers never succeed.
Hilali/KhanAnd whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafiroon (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful.
H/K/SaheehAnd whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
MalikWhoever invokes another god besides Allah - about whose divinity he has no proof -he will have to give an account to his Lord. Surely such unbelievers will never attain salvation.[117]
QXPHence, anyone who calls upon gods besides Allah, has no evidence of it. And his account rests with his Lord? Verily, such deniers of the Truth will not attain the ultimate prosperity. (23:1).
Maulana AliAnd whoever invokes, besides Allah, another god -- he has no proof of this -- his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely the disbelievers will not be successful.
Free MindsAnd whosoever calls on another god with God when he has no proof for such, then his judgment is with his Lord. The rejecters will never succeed.
Qaribullah Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper.

JM RodwellAnd whoso, together with God, shall call on another god, for whom he hath no proof, shall surely have to give account to his Lord. Aye, it shall fare ill with the infidels.

AsadHence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity [- a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state!
