| Transliteration | Allatheena yajAAaloona maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fasawfa yaAAlamoona |
| Literal | Those who create/put with God another god, so they will/shall know. |
| Yusuf Ali | Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. |
