| Transliteration | Ya ayyatuha alnnafsu almutma-innatu |
| Literal | You, you the self, the assured/tranquil . |
| Yusuf Ali | (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! |
