| Transliteration | Bali allatheena kafaroo fee taktheebin |
| Literal | But those who disbelieved (are) in lying/denial/falsification. |
| Yusuf Ali | And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! |
| Pickthal | Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial |
| Arberry | Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, |
