| Transliteration | Thumma yuqalu hatha allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona |
| Literal | Then (it) will be said: "That (is) what you were with it lying/denying/falsifying." |
| Yusuf Ali | Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! |
| Pickthal | And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. |
| Arberry | Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' |
