| Transliteration | Waomlee lahum inna kaydee mateenun |
| Literal | And I extend for them in time/life , that truly My plotting/conspiring (is) solid/strong . |
| Yusuf Ali | A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. |
| Pickthal | Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. |
| Arberry | and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. |
