| Transliteration | Waamma in kana min as-habi alyameeni |
| Literal | But/as for if (he) was from the right (hand's) owners/company/friends. |
| Yusuf Ali | And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, |
| Pickthal | And if he is of those on the right hand, |
| Arberry | and if he be a Companion of the Right: |
