| Transliteration | Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyani |
| Literal | Between them (B) (is) a barrier , they (B) do not transgress . |
| Yusuf Ali | Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: |
| Pickthal | There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). |
| Arberry | between them a barrier they do not overpass. |
| Shakir | Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. |
| Sarwar | but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. |
| Khalifa | A barrier is placed between them, to prevent them from transgressing. |
