Ya Sin (Ya Sin, Ya-Seen) 36:75

36:75 لايستطيعون نصرهم وهم لهم جند محضرون


TransliterationLa yastateeAAoona nasrahum wahum lahum jundun muhdaroona
LiteralThey are not being able (of) giving them victory/aiding them, and they are for them soldiers/warriors being made to be present/attend.

Yusuf AliThey have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).
PickthalIt is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.
Arberry They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them.
Shakir(But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them.
SarwarInstead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols.
KhalifaOn the contrary, they cannot help them; they end up serving them as devoted soldiers.

QXPIt is beyond their power to help them, and in effect such people end up guarding their false gods like committed hosts.
