| 3:172 الذين استجابوا لله والرسول من بعد مااصابهم القرح للذين احسنوا منهم واتقوا اجر عظيم | |
| Transliteration | Allatheena istajaboo lillahi waalrrasooli min baAAdi ma asabahumu alqarhu lillatheena ahsanoo minhum waittaqaw ajrun AAatheemun |
| Literal | Those who answered/replied to God and the messenger from after what the wound/ulcer (harm) struck them, for those who did good from them, and feared and obeyed, a great reward. |
| Yusuf Ali | Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward;- |
