ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:6

26:6 فقد كذبوا فسياتيهم انباء ماكانوا به يستهزؤون


TransliterationFaqad kaththaboo fasaya/teehim anbao ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona
LiteralSo they had lied/denied/falsified so (the) news/information (of) what they were with it mocking/making fun of, will come to them.

Yusuf AliThey have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at!
PickthalNow they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff.
Arberry So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at.
ShakirSo they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them.
SarwarThey have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked.
KhalifaSince they disbelieved, they have incurred the consequences of their heedlessness.
Hilali/KhanSo they have indeed denied (the truth this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them.
H/K/SaheehFor they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule.
MalikBut now that they have neglected the warning, they will soon come to know the reality of what they have been mocking at.[6]
QXPThus indeed have they rejected this Message. But in time they will come to understand what it was that they ridiculed.
Maulana AliThey indeed reject, so the news will soon come to them of that at which they mock.
Free MindsThey have denied, thus the news will come to them of what they used to ridicule.
Qaribullah So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them.

George Saleand they have charged it with falsehood: But a message shall come unto them, which they shall not laugh to scorn.

Asadthus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! [See 6:4 -5 and the corresponding note.]
