ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:42

26:42 قال نعم وانكم اذا لمن المقربين


TransliterationQala naAAam wa-innakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena
LiteralHe said: "Yes and you are then from (E) the neared/closer."

Yusuf AliHe said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)."
PickthalHe said: Aye, and ye will then surely be of those brought near (to me).
Arberry He said, 'Yes indeed; and you shall then be among the near-stationed.'
ShakirHe said: Yes, and surely you will then be of those who are made near.
SarwarHe replied, "You will then be my closest associates".
KhalifaHe said, "Yes indeed; you will even be close to me."
Hilali/KhanHe said: "Yes, and you shall then verily be of those brought near (to myself)."
H/K/SaheehHe said, Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me].
MalikPharoah replied: "Yes of course! You will even be made my courtiers."[42]
QXPHe said, "Yes, and you will have high ranks in my court." (7:113).
Maulana AliHe said: Yes, and surely you will then be of those who are nearest (to me).

Qaribullah 'Yes, indeed' he answered, 'and you shall become among those who are near stationed. '
