| Transliteration | Walaw nazzalnahu AAala baAAdi al-aAAjameena |
| Literal | And even if We descended it on (to) some (of) the non-Arabs/Persians. |
| Yusuf Ali | Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, |
