ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:111

26:111 قالوا انومن لك واتبعك الارذلون


TransliterationQaloo anu/minu laka waittabaAAaka al-arthaloona
LiteralThey said: "Do we believe to you, and the mean/low/despised followed you?"

Yusuf AliThey said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?"
PickthalThey said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee?
Arberry They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?'
ShakirThey said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you?
SarwarThey said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones".
KhalifaThey said, "How can we believe with you, when the worst among us have followed you?"
Hilali/KhanThey said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?"
H/K/SaheehThey said, Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?
MalikThey replied: "Should we believe in you, whereas your followers are but the lowest of the low?"[111]
QXPThey answered, "Shall we put our faith in you even though the low class people are following you?"
