| Transliteration | Waallatheena hum lilzzakati faAAiloona |
| Literal | And those who to the charity/purification , they are making/doing. |
| Yusuf Ali | Who are active in deeds of charity; |
| Pickthal | And who are payers of the poor-due; |
| Arberry | and at almsgiving are active |
| Shakir | And who are givers of poor-rate, |
