| Transliteration | Walaqad ataynaka sabAAan mina almathanee waalqur-ana alAAatheema |
| Literal | And We had given/brought you seven from the doubles/strength/capacity and the Koran , the great. |
| Yusuf Ali | And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. |
| Pickthal | We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. |
