| Transliteration | Wa-innaha labisabeelin muqeemin | 
| Literal | And that it truly is with a continuing/keeping up path/means (E) . | 
| Yusuf Ali | And the (cities were) right on the high-road. | 
| Pickthal | And lo! it is upon a road still uneffaced. | 
| Arberry | surely it is on a way yet remaining; | 
| Shakir | And surely it is on a road that still abides. |
