9:76 فلما اتاهم من فضله بخلوا به وتولوا وهم معرضون


TransliterationFalamma atahum min fadlihi bakhiloo bihi watawallaw wahum muAAridoona
LiteralSo when He gave them from His grace/favour they were stingy/miser with it, and they turned away and (while) they are objecting/opposing .

Yusuf AliBut when He did bestow of His bounty, they became covetous, and turned back (from their covenant), averse (from its fulfilment).
PickthalYet when He gave them of His bounty, they hoarded it and turned away, averse;
