| Transliteration | Lahum min jahannama mihadun wamin fawqihim ghawashin wakathalika najzee alththalimeena |
| Literal | For them from Hell (is a) bed/crib , and from above them covers/darknesses , and as/like that We reward/reimburse the unjust/oppressors.98 |
| Yusuf Ali | For them there is Hell, as a couch (below) and folds and folds of covering above: such is Our requital of those who do wrong. |
| Pickthal | Theirs will be a bed of hell, and over them coverings (of hell). Thus do We requite wrong-doers. |
