| Transliteration | Wakathalika nufassilu al-ayati walaAAallahum yarjiAAoona |
| Literal | And as/like that We detail/explain the evidences/verses , and maybe/perhaps they return. |
| Yusuf Ali | Thus do We explain the signs in detail; and perchance they may turn (unto Us). |
| Pickthal | Thus we detail the revelations, that haply they may return. |
| Arberry | So We distinguish the signs; and haply they will return. |
| Shakir | And thus do We make clear the communications, and that haply they might return. |
