al-An`am (Cattle, Livestock) 6:131

6:131 ذلك ان لم يكن ربك مهلك القرى بظلم واهلها غافلون


TransliterationThalika an lam yakun rabbuka muhlika alqura bithulmin waahluha ghafiloona
LiteralThat (is) that your Lord was not destroying the villages/urban cities with injustice, and its people (are) ignoring/disregarding .

Yusuf Ali(The messengers were sent) thus, for thy Lord would not destroy for their wrong-doing men's habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned.
PickthalThis is because thy Lord destroyeth not the townships arbitrarily while their people are unconscious (of the wrong they do).
Arberry That is because thy Lord would never destroy the cities unjustly, while their inhabitants were heedless.
ShakirThis is because your Lord would not destroy towns unjustly while their people were negligent.
SarwarYour Lord did not want to destroy the towns, unjustly, without informing their inhabitants (of His guidance).
KhalifaThis is to show that your Lord never annihilates any community unjustly, while its people are unaware.
Hilali/KhanThis is because your Lord would not destroy the (populations of) towns for their wrongdoing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allah) while their people were unaware (so the Messengers were sent).
H/K/SaheehThat is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing while their people were unaware.
MalikYour Lord would not destroy towns without just cause while their residents were ignorant of the Reality.[131]
QXPAnd so it is that your Lord never destroys communities arbitrarily while their people are unaware of their wrongdoings.
Maulana AliThis is because thy Lord would not destroy towns unjustly while their people are negligent.
Free MindsThat is because your Lord was not to destroy any town because of its wickedness while its people were unaware.
Qaribullah That is because your Lord will not destroy villages unjustly, while their inhabitants were inattentive.
