al-An`am (Cattle, Livestock) 6:120

6:120 وذروا ظاهر الاثم وباطنه ان الذين يكسبون الاثم سيجزون بما كانوا يقترفون


TransliterationWatharoo thahira al-ithmi wabatinahu inna allatheena yaksiboona al-ithma sayujzawna bima kanoo yaqtarifoona
LiteralAnd leave (the) apparent/visible (of) the sin/crime, and its hidden/secret , that those who acquire/carry the sin/crime, they will be rewarded/reimbursed with what they were fabricating.

Yusuf AliEschew all sin, open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings."
PickthalForsake the outwardness of sin and the inwardness thereof. Lo! those who garner sin will be awarded that which they have earned.
Arberry Forsake the outward sin, and the inward surely the earners of sin shall be recompensed for what they have earned.

QXPAbstain from violating the Divine Commands, whether openly or secretly. Those who drag down their "Self" by such violations will be awarded what they have earned. (They will live a subhuman existence and meet a befitting consequence).
