| 52:16 اصلوها فاصبروا اولا تصبروا سواء عليكم انما تجزون ماكنتم تعملون | |
| Transliteration | Islawha faisbiroo aw la tasbiroo sawaon AAalaykum innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Literal | Roast/suffer it , so be patient or do not be patient, (it is) equal/alike on (to) you, but/truly you are being reimbursed what you were making/doing. |
| Yusuf Ali | "Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds." |
