4:161 واخذهم الربا وقد نهوا عنه واكلهم اموال الناس بالباطل واعتدنا للكافرين منهم عذابا اليما


TransliterationWaakhthihimu alrriba waqad nuhoo AAanhu waaklihim amwala alnnasi bialbatili waaAAtadna lilkafireena minhum AAathaban aleeman
LiteralAnd their taking the interest/usury , and they had been forbidden/prevented from it, and their eating the people's properties/possessions with the falsehood (could include unjust taxes), and We prepared to the disbelievers from them, a painful torture.

Yusuf AliThat they took usury, though they were forbidden; and that they devoured men's substance wrongfully;- we have prepared for those among them who reject faith a grievous punishment.
