37:141 فساهم فكان من المدحضين


TransliterationFasahama fakana mina almudhadeena
LiteralSo he drew lots with (gambled) , so he was from the annulled/slipped.

Yusuf AliHe (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned:
PickthalAnd then drew lots and was of those rejected;
Arberry and cast lots, and was of the rebutted,
ShakirSo he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off.
Sarwarwherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water.
KhalifaHe rebelled and thus, he joined the losers.
Hilali/KhanHe (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers,
H/K/SaheehAnd he drew lots and was among the losers.
