Ya Sin (Ya Sin, Ya-Seen) 36:29

36:29 ان كانت الا صيحة واحدة فاذا هم خامدون


TransliterationIn kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan fa-itha hum khamidoona
LiteralThat (E) (it) was except one loud strong cry/torture raid so then they are still/silent/dead.

Yusuf AliIt was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent.
PickthalIt was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct.
