| 29:16 وابراهيم اذ قال لقومه اعبدوا الله واتقوه ذلكم خير لكم ان كنتم تعلمون | |
| Transliteration | Wa-ibraheema ith qala liqawmihi oAAbudoo Allaha waittaqoohu thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona |
| Literal | And Abraham when he said to his nation: "Worship God, and fear and obey Him, that (is) best for you, if you were knowing." |
| Yusuf Ali | And (We also saved) Abraham: behold, he said to his people, "Serve Allah and fear Him: that will be best for you- If ye understand! |
