| 23:80 وهو الذي يحيي ويميت وله اختلاف الليل والنهار افلا تعقلون | |
| Transliteration | Wahuwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahari afala taAAqiloona |
| Literal | And He is who revives/makes alive and makes die, and to Him the night's and the daytime's difference, so do you not reason/comprehend ? |
| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? |
