| 22:22 كلما ارادوا ان يخرجوا منها من غم اعيدوا فيهاوذوقوا عذاب الحريق | |
| Transliteration | Kullama aradoo an yakhrujoo minha min ghammin oAAeedoo feeha wathooqoo AAathaba alhareeqi |
| Literal | Whenever they wanted that they get out from it from (because of) sadness/depression, they were returned in it, and (told): "Taste/experience the burning's torture." |
| Yusuf Ali | Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!" |
| Pickthal | Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning. |
