| 2:199 ثم افيضوا من حيث افاض الناس واستغفروا الله ان الله غفور رحيم | |
| Transliteration | Thumma afeedoo min haythu afada alnnasu waistaghfiroo Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |
| Literal | Then flow/spread from where/when the people flowed/spread , and ask for God's forgiveness, that God (is) forgiving, most merciful . |
| Yusuf Ali | Then pass on at a quick pace from the place whence it is usual for the multitude so to do, and ask for Allah's forgiveness. For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
