| 19:4 قال رب اني وهن العظم مني واشتعل الراس شيبا ولم اكن بدعائك رب شقيا | |
| Transliteration | Qala rabbi innee wahana alAAathmu minnee waishtaAAala alrra/su shayban walam akun biduAAa-ika rabbi shaqiyyan |
| Literal | He said: "My Lord that I, the bones weakened/enfeebled from me, and the hair turned white or gray and my Lord I was not miserable/unhappy with calling you." |
| Yusuf Ali | Praying: "O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee! |
