18:54 ولقد صرفنا في هذا القران للناس من كل مثل وكان الانسان اكثر شئ جدلا


TransliterationWalaqad sarrafna fee hatha alqur-ani lilnnasi min kulli mathalin wakana al-insanu akthara shay-in jadalan
LiteralAnd We had laid out/detailed linguistically in this the Koran to the people from every example/proverb, and the human/mankind was (the) most arguing/disputing thing.

Yusuf AliWe have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.
PickthalAnd verily We have displayed for mankind in this Qur'an all manner of similitudes, but man is more than anything contentious.
Arberry We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; man is the most disputatious of things.
ShakirAnd certainly We have explained in this Quran every kind of example, and man is most of all given to contention.
SarwarWe have given various examples in this Quran for people to learn a lesson, but the human being is the most contentious creature.

MalikWe have given all kinds of examples in this Qur’an to make the people understand this Message, but man is exceedingly contentious.[54]
QXPIndeed, for the benefit of mankind We use TASREEF to explain the Qur'an from various vantage points. However, man, above all other imperfections, is given to contention.
Maulana AliAnd certainly We have made distinct in this Qur’an for mankind every kind of description; and man is in most things contentious.
Free MindsAnd We have cited in this Quran every example for the people. But man was always most argumentative.
Qaribullah We have set forth for people in this Koran all manner of parables; the human is the most disputatious of things.
