| 16:65 والله انزل من السماء ماء فاحيا به الارض بعد موتها ان في ذلك لاية لقوم يسمعون | |
| Transliteration | WaAllahu anzala mina alssama-i maan faahya bihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yasmaAAoona |
| Literal | And God descended from the sky water, so He revived with it the land/Earth after its death/lifelessness, that in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) to a nation listening/hearing . |
| Yusuf Ali | And Allah sends down rain from the skies, and gives therewith life to the earth after its death: verily in this is a Sign for those who listen. |
