| Transliteration | Qad kana lakum ayatun fee fi-atayni iltaqata fi-atun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahi waokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim ra/ya alAAayni waAllahu yu-ayyidu binasrihi man yashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absari |
| Literal | (It) had been a sign/evidence for you in two groups (who) met , a group fights/kills in God's way/sake , and another disbelieving, they see them (as) two equals to them (B) (twice as much as them) (by) the eye's sight/vision, and God supports with His victory whom He wills/wants, that in that (is) an example/a warning (E) to (those) of the eye sights/ knowledge. |

(The believers in their motivation saw the manifold enemy just twice their own numbers, while the deniers saw the smaller opponents twice the size they actually were).
